ABOUT KIRSTEN KING
Kirsten King is the director of Fluidform Pilates studio and is a passionate advocate of the functional and aesthetic physical changes that Pilates can bring about in the human body.
King holds a Diploma in Pilates from the Australasian Pilates Method Association and STOTT Pilates and is a fully accredited member of the Pilates Australian Alliance.
Since 2013, Fluidform studios have offered King's highly individualised Pilates instruction that is suitable to all stages of life, from everyday function to rehabilitation from injury and surgery through to pre and post natal as well as support for professional athletes. From a personal point of view, as a mother of three young girls under 6, King has a very first hand understanding of the rigours and challenges of the pre and post natal period for women and is well-positioned to speak in a highly educated manner on the best ways to support the female body through this life period.
Her clients include well known faces such as Georgia Fowler, Rachael Finch, Elle Ferguson, Tash Sefton and Pip Edwards; as well as professional athletes Greg Inglis and George and Tom Burgess.
With an impressive history in fashion and a Bachelor of Commerce/Law, Pip’s longstanding career has seen her work in PR and Design for Ksubi, whilst also being a freelance stylist with DLM - before landing her Senior Creative and Accessories Designer role at Sass & Bide. This is where her working, creative relationship, and friendship, with P.E co-founder, Claire Tregoning, was cemented.
It was only after Edwards made the pivotal move to General Pants Co as Design Director, that she was able to fully grasp and understand the retail landscape. She’s now made a mark, utilising her own name sake initials and retro-tomboy style, to launch P.E Nation.
Sylvia Jeffreys is an established journalist and presenter with the Nine Network, Australia and has cemented herself as one of the most versatile and respected members of the Network’s top-rating news and current affairs team.
Queensland-born Sylvia launched her television career with Channel 9 and since transferring to the Nine Network’s Sydney headquarters in 2012, Sylvia has become one of the most familiar faces on news and current affairs programs.
In 2019, Sylvia is developing a new programme, while also establishing her own podcast series with Nine’s premium women’s platform, Future Women. She will also continue to file special reports across the news and current affairs departments.
Away from the Nine cameras, Sylvia is also a dedicated and passionate ambassador for national charity Youngcare which seeks to find appropriate housing for young adults with high care disabilities.
