Your food journey is an integral part of your time and experience with us at Eden Health Retreat. Our goal is to nurture, nourish, inspire and educate you (and your tastebuds) to give you a new appreciation of nutrition and whole foods, which you can continue to enjoy and explore long after you’ve left Eden.

Nourishment at Eden

Our seasonally set menu has been carefully formulated by our team of award-winning chefs and nutritionist to ensure your food experience is nutritionally balanced. We provide three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with each meal specially created to feed your body, calm your mind and nourish your soul.

We also have a wide selection of organic, therapeutic herbal teas for you to enjoy and maximise your wellness during your stay. Please note that the service of alcohol is not part of the Eden program.

Meet our award-winning chefs

Ash Martin – Culinary Director

Ash has enjoyed a diverse and successful 20-year culinary career. Growing up in Bendigo, Victoria, he moved to Melbourne at the age of 20 to train under renowned chefs like Juliann Hills. Relocating to Queensland, he became Head Chef at Spicers Peak Lodge and later transformed Spicers Hidden Vale’s Cotton’s Restaurant, to Homage as their Executive Chef, and created an innovative, inspirational restaurant earning many awards and accolades. Following a fire, that burnt down the restaurant in 2018, Ash reimagined the menu with “cooking over fire” elements. In 2019 he also appeared on Master Chef as the first guest chef with his own segment.

Kane Trewhella – Head Chef

Kane received his training in classic French cooking techniques at Cornwall College, learning the importance of fully utilising every part of an ingredient. Something which he has brought to his role at Eden.

Kane takes great pleasure in crafting healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals using local and seasonal ingredients for every guest.

Ash and Kane spent almost seven years working together at the award-winning Homage Restaurant, and now leverage their exceptional chemistry in the kitchen together at Eden.

By fuelling your body with macro- and micro-nutrients, our food and nutrition team ensures that you leave with a new sense of wellness and intention through our inspiring menu and nutritional-based education programs.

All our meals are gluten-free and are created from a wide variety of the highest-quality produce.

Dining in luxury

Bask in the ultimate dining experience as you overlook the spectacular valley views while you enjoy our delicious offerings. Our custom-built demonstration kitchen located inside the dining room is the perfect space for you to learn and observe tools and techniques to enable you to easily recreate the Eden food experience once you return home.
