Showing and regularly practising gratitude may be the simplest way to usher joy and happiness into your world. By practising gratitude regularly, we can shift our focus from what’s lacking, and instead focus on how to appreciate the abundance of joy in our lives.

Taking a few minutes each day to reflect on the things you are grateful for, such as your friendships, strong relationships, good health, and even a sunny day, can help you to foster a positive mindset and open the door to joy. We encourage our guests to practise gratitude during their stay at Eden through guided gratitude exercises and journaling. These simple methods can easily be practised and replicated in your everyday life.

Embrace the ‘now’

Mindfulness, the practice of being fully present and aware, is a powerful tool for cultivating joy.
